Posh Art – Art Exhibition: Dean McLeod

Born in Eston, Saskatchewan, Dean grew up on a wheat farm, where the prairie wind and big sky seared his soul. His art has been influenced by the emotion and style of J.W. Turner’s landscape painting.

Dean describes his pop art as: “A genre of art that uses elements of popular culture with techniques from commercial art and advertising along with bold and bright colours to attract attention. Think of pop art as being fun, colourful with child-like playfulness and simplicity”.
