II BY IV Design’s Donato Salon + Spa Wins Big! – POSH Media Inc.

Toronto, Ontario – International award-winning Toronto firm II BY IV Design Associates was honoured with two awards for their design of the flagship locations of Donato Salon + Spa at The Shops at Don Mills, in Toronto Canada.

The first design competition entered for this project was the IIDA NY, Lester Dundes Awards 2010 and Donato Salon + Spa won “First Place – Retail Category”

This Annual Competition was established in 2004 to recognize extraordinary design projects and to honor the members of the New York Chapter of the International Interior Design Association for their contributions to these exceptional projects and the design teams that created them.

The second award win was in the 2011 Retail Design Institute International Store Design Competition in which Donato Salon + Spa won “Best Service Retailer”

For 50 years, The Retail Design Institute has set the standard for excellence in store design, and since 1971, in the industry’s only peer reviewed competition, they have publicly recognized those projects, which are the best of the year, and the designers and retailers who plan and create them.
